We have 35 000 staff; operate almost 4500 Post Offices; serve 1.1 million customers in our retail outlets and handle over 21 million mail articles each day; and deliver mail to 9.87 million addresses, in each corner of the country.

Australia Post is a Government Business Enterprise, operating as a fully independent, self-funding and tax paying commercial business, which returns a profit to the Commonwealth Government, year on year.
